Company History

Deacro Industries is a privately owned Canadian company that is owned by its founder and Senior Designer, Ed deBoer. Originally founded in 1979, the company started as a precision machine shop for the plastics industry. Shortly after designing a custom slitter rewinder, Deacro’s machine shop was running full time making nothing other than components for the slitters.

Today, Deacro’s focus is on designing and manufacturing the highest quality slitter rewinders in the world. Deacro employs over 120 people including engineering, service, assembly and administrative support.

Deacro has installed slitter rewinder equipment on every continent of the globe including the USA, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Chili, Peru, Brazil, United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Belgium, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and Russia. This extensive installation base has allowed Deacro to work with some of the largest converters in the industry.
