CNC Mill & Lathe Operators


  • 3-5 years CNC experience, preferred
  • College graduates of a one-year CNC program, preferred
  • Must have own tools

Day Shift Details
Mon to Thurs. 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Fri. 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Afternoon Shift Details
Mon to Thurs. 4:00 PM. – 2:30 AM (next day)
Fri. 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Electrical Drafting Technologist


Applicant must have:

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a manufacturing engineering environment
  • Minimum education level as a Technologist; preference will be given to an electrical or design major
  • Experience with the redesign of components for the purpose of cost reduction or product improvement
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, Word
  • Familiarity with CSA standard and Ontario Electrical Safety Code
  • Experience with BOM analysis
  • Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision to meet project completion dates
  • Attention to detail, excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, above-average written and verbal communication ability

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Create, prepare, and ensure quality of electrical assembly drawings for production staff
  • Scrutinize and correct drawings to indicate the correct detail of assembly and wiring
  • Maintain the plant floor drawing sets to correctly detail the assembly and wiring
  • Validate correct electrical BOM as detailed in the drawing set
  • Prepare and create detailed electrical connection/disconnection drawings for use by field installers
  • Maintain detailed change notices pertaining to drawing corrections reflecting plant floor revisions and field service revisions

Electrical Control Panel & Machine Wiring

Deacro Industries is currently seeking Machinery Assemblers – Electrical Control Panel and Machine Wiring.
Applicant must have:

  • Minimum three years experience with control panel building and machine wiring
  • Ability to read and apply schematics diagrams
  • Working knowledge of electronics
  • Pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical experience
  • Ability to use hand tools and electro-mechanical devices
  • Experience with converting equipment or packaging equipment would be an asset
  • Hands-on knowledge of PLC, HMI would be an asset

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan and layout assembly sequence and procedures for specified parts
  • Build machinery electrical panels
  • Assemble components and subassemblies
  • Route and run wire and cable
  • Perform inspections of assemblies and subassemblies during the building of the machines, and a complete inspection of the machines prior to commissioning

Field Service Engineer


Deacro Industries is currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide field design, installation & commissioning of all slitter/rewinder equipment, as well as repair electrical, mechanical and/or control related problems.

Applicant must have:

  • Converting knowledge and experience
  • Graduate of post-Secondary School studies
  • Ability to interact and deal effectively with customers using excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • 2+ years of experience programming/working with Allen Bradley, Omron PLCs
  • 2+ years of experience working with Proface, Allen Bradley, Omron HMI systems
  • 2+ years of experience working with Servo and A/C drives
  • 5+ years of experience troubleshooting automated machinery
  • Design knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulic systems

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, Install and Commission slitter/rewinder equipment
  • Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and machine program related problems in the field
  • Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and machine program related problems by phone
  • Providing effective and efficient troubleshooting expertise on all automated machines using electrical schematics and PLC logic
  • Training customers on safe and efficient operation of all equipment
  • Providing preventive maintenance on all equipment and make recommendations to customers
  • Providing appropriate input in writing, updating and correcting various system documentation, as necessary
  • Providing proper documentation of all work, including service reports and expense reports

Other Responsibilities

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, approx 18 to 25 weeks per year
  • Ability to create and modify programs for HMI Screen Development, Allen Bradley, Emerson, Servo motors, and others
