Deacro is looking for a Mechanical Assembler.

Job Summary

Salary : To be discussed
Work schedule : 44 to 50 h – Full time
Job status : Permanent
Work shift : Day

The successful applicant will be/have

  • 2+ years of mechanical assembly / machine building experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Relevant vocational training preferred
  • Ability to read mechanical schematics and assembly drawings
  • Knowledge and experience with pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Ability to learn and perform multiple manufacturing tasks including machine trouble-shooting and start-ups
  • Ability to handle physical requirements of job (continuous standing, occasional lifting of 10-50 pounds)
  • Experience operating various power tools
  • Machine Shop and computer-related skills would be an asset

Position responsibility

  • Building fully-automated machinery or packaging machinery from the base to the final components, according to schematics / drawings
  • Performing bench type processes to complete assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand, electronic, and pneumatic tools
