Laser Core Positioning Overview
The Laser Core positioning system automatically indicates the precise location of the core for easy, quick and accurate placing of cores on the rewind shafts. A servo positioned dual laser light indicates the core locations on the upper and lower rewind shafts. Core locations are saved and programmed in the database setup file which is easily loaded from the touch screen.
This option is very useful in combination with Deacro's roll lock differential air shafts. Operators simply lineup the core with the laser to locate the core. The operator then waves a hand near a sensor to initiate the servo to jog the laser to the next required core position. A manual laser core positioner is also available. This affordable system allows the operator to avoid marking the shaft. Simply move the laser to mark the desired location and slide the core into position.
