Digital Knife Display Overview
The digital knife display upgrade greatly reduces knife setup times and increases slitting accuracy. With the digital knife display system, knives are moved and locked in place manually. However, a display provides the operator with the precise knife location. The operator then moves the next knife until the digital display reads the correct location.
The slitter's touch control screen file recipe can store the desired knife locations for the operator’s reference. This feature eliminates the need for operators to use tape measures, reduces setup time and increases knife position accuracy. For quicker setup times, the fully automatic knife positioning features is also available.
