Closed-loop Unwind Tension
Each Deacro slitter rewinder is designed and built is to maintain constant unwind tension throughout the slitter run-time. Closed-loop unwind tension assists in achieving this important goal.
The slitter unwind tension is a closed-loop system that uses either a position regulated dancer system or a load cell system. The microprocessor control system then maintains constant tension by controlling the brake on the unwind or the AC-vector drive for driven unwinds. This ensures that the unwind tension is constant throughout the slitter runtime.
