C800B Slitter Rewinder Overview
The C800B (overhead model shown) is the most technologically advanced and versatile duplex cantilevered slitter in the industry. Deacro’s innovative rewind technology such as the roll lock differential air shafts and servo-actuated lay-on roller system deliver the ability to rewind even the most difficult light gauge films and complex laminates. The slitter can be operated in a ‘minimum gap mode’ for adhesives or cold seals and there is a dedicated narrow width option for narrow web rewind applications.
Innovative designs have slashed required slitter setup time. At the touch of a button, the slitter can be set to the correct running parameters. The slitter can automatically position knives and cores, or it can indicate the core location for the operator.
When the rewinding is complete, the roll-pushers can automatically off-load the finished rolls to one of several roll handling systems. The operator then simply slides new cores on and continues the cycle. A set change is as simple as recalling a new file through the color touch screen. Operators never need to handle rewind tooling, handle shafts, setup knives or manually move rolls!
