The Future of Simplex Slitting
At the touch of a button, the slitter can be set to the correct running parameters. Digital knife positioning and servo laser core indication options can greatly reduce setup times. A setup change is as simple as recalling a new file through the color touch screen.
After the finished rolls have been removed, the operator simply slides new cores onto the rewind shaft and places the shaft back in the rewind cradles to continue the slitting cycle. A set change is as simple as recalling a new file through the color touch screen. Operators never need to handle rewind tooling, setup knives or manually move rolls.

Save Time Setting The Rewind
Reducing slitter setup time is a necessity in today’s market. Because of this, Deacro offers a variety of quick rewind setup options with its laser core positioning system and differential air shaft technology. These features allow operators to save time during rewind setup. To locate cores, operators simply slide cores across the cantilevered shaft. After cores have been moved onto the shaft, the laser locating system automatically indicates the precise location of the core for easy, quick and accurate placement on the shafts.
Save Time Setting Knives
Deacro offers a range of automatic and manual knife setup options with its auto knife positioning system and digital knife display technology. Deacro’s auto knife positioning system allows operators to attend other areas of the slitter while the knives are automatically being positioned. For manual positioning, Deacro offers the digital knife display. This feature displays the current knife location in relation to the pre-set location. These features are designed to assist the operator during the knife setup stage of the slitter operation.
