Model CS1000A/CS1300A Center Surface Winder

The CS1000A is the most technologically advanced and versatile center surface slitter rewinder in the converting industry. The cantilevered rewind shafts eliminate the requirement to handle heavy mandrels. A heavy-duty roll unloading system takes the weight of the rolls off the rewind shaft to allow large OD, heavy roll rewinding. A flexible rewind design allows these models to be configured as a center winder or a center surface winder.

Innovative designs have slashed required slitter setup time. At the touch of a button, the slitter can be set to the correct running parameters. The CS1000A can automatically position knives and cores, or it can indicate the core location for the operator. When the rewinding is complete, the roll carriage can automatically off-load the finished rolls. The operator then simply slides new cores on and continues the cycle.
