CSR1300B Slitter Rewinder Overview
The CSR1300B simplex center-surface slitter rewinder is the most technologically advanced and versatile simplex slitter in the industry. Center-surface winding is ideal when rewinding to large ODs (up to 50”/1300 mm) for heavy materials such as papers and complex laminates. Winding directly off of a drum provides good tracking to virtually eliminate web interweaving.
At the touch of a button, the slitter can be set to the correct running parameters. Digital knife positioning and servo laser core indication options can greatly reduce setup times. When rewinding is complete, rewind arms hydraulically rotate out of the machine to an unloading position. A setup change is as simple as recalling a new file through the color touch screen.
When the rewinding is complete, the slitter can automatically off-load the finished rolls to one of many different roll handling options. The operator then simply slides new cores on and continues the cycle. A set change is as simple as recalling a new file through the color touch screen. Operators never need to handle rewind tooling, handle shafts, setup knives or manually move rolls!
