Shaftless Rewinder For Master Rolls

Deacro is now offering a shaftless unwind variant of it’s popular R1000C salvage rewinder. Similar to the R800C, the new RS1000A is designed for web converters who need an affordable and reliable salvage rewinder. The RS1000A is capable of rewind diameters of up to 40″ diameters. Since the RS1000A is fully shaftless, operators are able to perform quick roll changes.

The RS1000A features Deacro’s unique sensitive tension control. Web tensions are controlled automatically with fully programmable taper tension for 0-100% for maximum control. The machine also monitors the diameter of the unwind and rewind roll and adjusts tension accordingly.

The reversible RS1000A can reduce rewind times by 50-90%. This option also allows operators to orientate the print direction without running the roll more than once.

This fully shaftless rewinder can pickup rolls from the floor for quick, safe loading, and unload the finished rolls when rewinding is complete. The unwind and rewind include loading/unloading systems.

Save Time

If the beginning of a roll needs editing, operators no longer need to run the entire web. Simply stop at the part of the roll that requires editing and reverse back to complete the rewind. This saves time and allows converters to quickly move onto the next job.

Quality Rewinds

When a roll has an especially poor profile, a single direction machine may require running it through more than once. A reversible rewinder can run back and forth over the roll’s roughest areas to give the best profile without running the roll through more than once.

Deacro’s salvage rewinders are designed with the operator in mind. A simple to use touch control screen interface allows direct access and editing to the machine’s running parameters.
